Change that starts from the inside out.
Trained in the Satir model, Christel offers coaching for individuals and small groups. The Satir model is built on a simple but powerful idea: how we communicate — with others and with ourselves — shapes everything about how we grow, connect, and navigate challenge. Rather than treating symptoms or offering surface-level advice, Satir-based coaching looks at the whole person: your patterns, your sense of self-worth, and the ways you've already learned to cope under stress. The goal isn't just to solve today's problem, but to build the kind of self-awareness and congruence that make lasting change possible — in relationships, in work, and in how you show up in your own life.
Coaching for growth, grounded in connection
Relationships are personal and individual, yet influenced by our identities and social systems. With extensive experience engaged in diversity, equity, and belonging work, we know our identities matter. Race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, language, health, mental wellness, past trauma, and other lived experiences impact who we are and how we move through the world together. This understanding is essential for creating a culture of safety, belonging, and ultimately trust.
A Culture of Safety and Belonging
Christel's calm, clear voice and clear outline of the process set the scene for working together. Thank you for helping us begin to find a direction forward!

Relationship-Based
I believe a focus on positive relationships can change the world. And the research proves this to be true.
“Data demonstrates that leaders who prioritize relationships with their employees and lead from a place of positivity and kindness simply do better. The most effective leaders…are values-driven, transparent, compassionate, humane, and recognize employees as unique individuals. As a result, their employees…are more engaged, less likely to turn over, more loyal, and more productive.”
-Harvard Review, 2022
“Positive interactions in the workplace are marked by trust, mutual regard, and active engagement. Interactions characterized in this way can improve employee awareness of others, foster positive emotions such as empathy and compassion, and increase the likelihood of trusting, respectful engagement between individuals.”
-Psychology Today, 2019
